Employee Raices a Formal Complaint  

Employee (A) filed a formal complaint with the Equal Opportunity office. Employee (B) had been making racist comments in the office space.  Unitive Consulting was hired to facilitate communication among the employees (using their conciliation process), during which employee B recognized the offense, apologized for what they had said, and restored their relationship with employee A. 

 

Employee A removed the formal complaint on the Equal Opportunity Office after accepting the apology and agreed to work cordially with employee B. Organization saved over 90 hours of formal investigation work by realizing that employees were upset with each other and offering a restorative communication facilitation approach that took less than 10 hours to resolve the conflict among the two employees.
